Studio Re-creations
A studio re-creation is a process whereby my existing original work is photographed, laser-copied onto canvas, (gyclee). I re-paint over the glyclee with additional acrylics and oils.
There are several advantages to using this process:
A client can choose a painting that he/she likes from The Gallery even if it has already been sold.
The re-creation can be made to any size
The re-creation is customizable by adding requested objects, people or specified colors that are different from what is seen in the original painting (an additional cost is added depending upon the complexity)
Commissions
Commissioning a piece of art will include the following services to make sure you are receiving a painting custom made for your home or office. The following steps are what you can expect:
Initial meeting. If possible, this meeting will be done in person so that the artist can be shown where the painting is to be displayed.
Considerations and measurements will be taken by the artist. Surroundings will be considered. What colors are present in the room? What kind of environment is it? What is the lighting
Answering a few questions will help the artist to understand the mood the client is wanting to convey for the environment.
The artist will help the client to choose the perfect palette and theme for the room in the exact size needed. If needed, photos from the artist are available for ideas and colors. There is no size that cannot be made to order.
A picture will be texted to the client half way through painting for approval.
Upon delivery and payment, the artist will advise the client in selecting an appropriate frame.
